- This is about how there were no books, how Phoenicia is now known as Syria, it also meant blood-red for the soldiers, they do have slaves and they borrow some Ugaritic and early noncuneiform to make their alphabet.

- Egyptians like to draw many figures of animals and birds and sometimes even a "curious combinations" of birds and animals with human features.
- As the Egyptians ancestors before therm and their offsprings had change and add to the meanings of many pictures.
- Waving water used to stand for the letter "N".
- Each cultures have their own ways of telling stories (pictures had different meanings).
- They all have different ways of coming up with ideas and why and what it meant.

4questions:
- Why didn't they draw plants but animals?
- How come they combined the features of animals, birds and humans together in a drawing?
- Who came up with the idea of drawing?
- When did this all happen, and did it happen at the same time?

- Hieroglyphs (pg47): A picture or symbol used in hieroglyphic writings.
- Papyrus (pg60): A tall, aquatic plant.

- This is about how and what the Egyptians had done for their alphabet, and how they read their drawings and each and every pictures have different meanings and that they uses tool to write with and used paper to write on.

- When they move, they don't take everything of theirs to their new home an remake weapons, untensils and etc for their new home.
- They draw to tell stories.
- Their drawings are unfinished most of the time.
- Later on, humans start to become part of the stories.
- Quious are knotted cords use by the Incas.

- Who was the first person to draw?
- Who came up with the idea of carving animals on stones?
- What did they use to draw with?
- How were they so artistic?

- This is basicially about how and what the people back in the time does, like why they carved, and how it meant, also how people read it and that they drew on walls to tell story and how it became better and more real life like, also how each cultures had different way of drawing their stories and their symbols mean different things.

- They are raising a fund to help the needy.
- Elizabeth is getting all kinds of illness.
- She's very hard-working.
- She also became very better with her job as physician.

- Why isn't anyone making her take atleast one week or two off?
- How are they raising the fund?
- Who came up with the idea of raising the fund for the needy?

- Elizabeth is very hardworking who doesn't give her self a break, she stays working to improve but that way she could die faster because of the illness she could catch of little sleep, overworking and stress, but luckily Kitty is there to kind of lessen her burden and work as a secretary, also she had wrote a book and dedicated to Kitty, and she had wrote many other book talking about lives that is related towards her and how things had worked out.

- No matter how hard it is for Elizabeth, she is never giving up.
- She is an inspiration to women, and also other people that weren't allow to do certain things because they aren't what it says they have to be.
- Lucy Stones is her sister-in-law.
- It is not Elizabeth nor any other people at the hospital fault's that the women whom had died; she died because of her unknown diease, and since it was unknown at that time, there was obviously no cure.
- Elizabeth has made alot of people changed the way they look at women, however there are still some who thinks that women can not become physicians.

- Why couldn't she borrow money from the bank or write a letter to the govenor to supply the money?
- How did Elizabeth knew which medicine to use?
- Who made the medicine?
- Why did she have to leave kitty?

- Elizabeth needed the money to be able to open her hospital, it was hard but she did not complain, she is a mulititasker, she has been working really hard and not letting out how tired she was because she is those kind of people who do not like to be helped for, she likes to do everything by herself, independant, also she had to leave Kitty whom had grew into her life, but as time is passing, she is closer and closer towards she goal and dream with the help of people in her life.

- People keep saying women can not become physicians.
- Elizabeth was envying how every other doctor got thier own signs on the window yet she can not have one because people did not want a women to put thier signs on thier's.
- NewYork's most important paper is the Tribune.
- Anna Blackwell (Elizabeth's sister) is a fine journalist.
- She spent her time studying on how to become a physicians at a hospital in Paris.

- Why did she choose Paris's hospital out of other hospitals there is?
- Is it because of Anna Blackwell's writing, Mr. Greeley accepted Elizabeth's request?
- Why did they reject Emily(Elizabeth's sister)?
- Why don't people understand the fact that everyone has thier own different talents and that gender, race, etnicity, background nor skin color matters?

- Elizabeth is another step closer towards her dream because she was able to have a little section for herself on the most important newspaper in those days, also she was envying the fact that every other doctors were able to post thier signs on the window shop but she wasn't accepted because she was a women, also she and Emily had adopted a girl name Kitty, Kitty is nice, young, and promised to take care of Elizabeth for the rest of her life, and stuff like that.

- Though she is in a rough enviorment, she is trying her best and is not complaining.
- She keeps a diary; she writes about the morning, afternoon, and night time.
- Her eyes might have been affected, buh now its fixed.

- Why was the hospital in chaos?
- What do they mean the room was low?
- Why wasn't Elizabeth nervous?
- How did she regain courage?

- Elizabeth's talent had started to catch some eyes and is being noticed. She has been working really hard, asked questions whenever there is the chance too, though however, there is still some people who think likewise; women can not become physician because they are women, Elizabeth also kept a diary about what happened, what she had learn, and what's going on, how hard it is but she is not going to give up, and that she is proving to everyone that she isn't just like any other girls also that not only men could be physicians, everyone should be treated and have the same chances as every other person not depending on their gender, race, ethicnicy, and or where they came from, who they are etc.
